COVID-19 SCREENING

If you have any of the following symptoms of COVID-19:

•   fever   •   new onset of cough   •   chills   •   unexplained fatigue   •   headache   •   sore throat   •   runny nose   •   stuffy or congested nose   •   lost sense of taste or smell   •   difficulty breathing   •   difficulty swallowing   •   pink eye   •   digestive issues (nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain)   •   or for young children and infants: sluggishness or lack of appetite

OR  you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 or someone who has developed new respiratory symptoms, please delay your visit AND contact either your health care provider, Telehealth Ontario (1-866-797-0000), or visit an Assessment Centre for testing.

 

CHANGES IMPLEMENTED FOR YOUR SAFETY

PRESCREENING:  1 day before and same day COVID-19 screening for all staff, practitioners and patients. There will be a check in station at the front door for screening, sanitizing and pertinent information for entry to the clinic. Clients must wash their hands with soap and water, or an alcohol-based solution, when they enter and leave the clinic. Your temperature will also be taken with a touchless thermometer.


PPE:
ALL PATIENTS MUST WEAR A MASK. The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (our Governing Body) has mandated that ALL patients must wear a mask to enter the clinic as well as during treatment. I ask that you please arrive with a mask in place before entering. There are a limited number of masks available for purchase if you forget yours at home. I will also be wearing a medical face mask and protective goggles during your visit.

ADDITIONAL MEASURES: The waiting area/reception will remain closed and I ask that you come to your appointment alone (unless accompanying a minor or someone in need of assistance). Please wait in your car on the day of your appointment and I will call/text you when I am ready for you to enter.

Appointments will be spaced out to allow physical distancing between clients and to allow enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols using hospital grade products (Preempt). The treatment room will be deep cleaned and disinfected in between every single patient. I will be following rigorous hand washing and equipment sterilization protocols. I am also reducing my number of daily appointments.

Payment will be touchless using the Square Reader to process credit and debit cards. Cash and cheque payment will not be accepted at this time. Your receipt will be printed out immediately following your treatment.
